Connections

One of the wonderful things from my week up at the Otago Art Society as an Artist in Residence was talking to the people coming to visit the Gallery.

I just had an email from a wonderful person saying that one of the highlights of their trip around the South Island was my show.  Thank you to that special person for 1. Enjoying my show, and 2. For taking the time and effort to email me and tell me.  Sounds like they had a spectacular trip round the South Island and now have the pleasurable task of sorting through all the photos.  What lovely memories there will be there.

Isn’t it wonderful when you connect with random individuals, and make an impression on each other that lasts beyond that small moment of initial connection.  Gives you a smile and uplifts your day when that connection is remembered and acted upon.
