Gallery Highlight: "Broken Tryst"

The feeling of this image “Broken Tryst” resonates with me today. The little fella waiting for someone or something that may never come. Bit like waiting for spring to return. At least we do know that will happen and we will get the colour back. 

Feeling a bit melancholy today. For no reason other than it’s a grey misty rain kinda day, with the fog hanging low still, my cat curled up on her chair in my studio (yes she has her own chair) and the garden looking at its worst since we’ve been here. It’s just winter, and a couple of hard frosts a few weeks ago knocked it back a bit. 

So we keep striving forward. Even if it’s just one small step today, at least you’re still moving forward and have that feeling of achieving something. So today, for me, it’s about ticking off tiny little things that I’ve been meaning to do for days now. Little round the house things that pile up, but I’ll still get that sense of achievement when I cross them off my list.
